The Bards From Yesterday are storytellers of myths and legends, of alcohol and bravado, from the tale of the drunken sailor to the frenzied dance of Connemara smugglers. Irish, Scottish, Celtic and Breton sounds make up their repertoire, with a healthy mix of groove thrown in for good measure.
Formed in 2015, the group has developed a great rapport with the public, transforming the stage into a pub and the audience into old drinking friends, not unlike an Irish club animated by drinking songs with their redundant refrains, and instrumental jigs, reels and polkas with a perpetual rhythm that has no end.
