Formed in January 2013 with the goal of cultivating public appreciation for an ancient foreign tradition and the true spirit of folk, Irish Popcorn play traditional Celtic-Irish arrangements with acoustic overtones typical of a crowded Dublin pub, while also drawing in the influence of related genres such as American country and Scottish music.
Despite their diverse music backgrounds, what brings the band’s six members together is their passion for deep expressive music, which they enjoy sharing with everyone, spreading folk fever without any chance of escape!
