Winterage started playing in 2008, and after several iterations they settled their line-up in 2012, along with their perfect Symphonic Power Metal style. The group’s first album, The Harmonic Passage (2015), is an impressive work of precision, taking more than six months to complete and including a symphony orchestra comprising forty different elements.
Ranging from northern European power metal to traditional Irish & Renaissance melodies, from Vivaldi to Bach and Beethoven to Brahms, their music is majestic, powerful and refined all at the same time. But beware: this is not a band for the faint of heart!
